Unity History...A Brief Introduction

Unity began as a philosophy.  Founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore became dedicated to the exploration of the power of prayer and self healing after Myrtle received a miraculous healing through her diligent faith and personal connection to the Divine.  Together the Fillmores founded Unity in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri.

The philosophy grew from small prayer circles in living rooms to the worldwide movement it is today.
